Poseidon did offer the family the opportunity to live in the palace, but Percy's mother, Sally, politely refused saying she would rather earn her place in society and raise her son out of the public's eye. Thanks to this, Percy's managed to get away with causing so much chaos the city guards know him by name. What happens when these two suddenly come face to face? Some chapters are narrated by different characters (symbols will be provided), there are mild abusive moments, it doesn't immediately dive into arriving at Camp Half-Blood nor knowing the main character's name, and this story takes place a month after The Titans Curse (so Percy, Annabeth, and Grover won't be included in "this" story). This is my first story, so I hope y'all like it. This story is dedicated to my high school teachers (for the sake of their privacy, I won't give their names). It was thanks to them I found my passion for writing and came up with the idea to post my stories.
