Alice Johnson lived in a huge house with her twin and her older brother Erick. Their parents were never around most of the time, but when they were they would take all creativity out of their lives. No colorful clothes, no hairstyles other than simple ones, nothing unique at all. Although, Alice knew something was different about her. She wanted more than just what her options were, and she was going to do everything to get it. She doesn't want fancy dresses or expensive jewelry... She wants answers. She wants answers to explain all of the weird dreams that she has, and everything that doesn't make sense. All of the questions get answered when the rebels come to town. Some people call therm pirates, others call them an outrage, but Alice calls them a chance to get answers. Once she sees the man from her dreams in a jail cell after she has been taken by them her whole life starts to unravel and she realizes that she has been living a lie and her past seems to start to come together.

'"I cannot feel this way. You clearly don't feel-" "I do though." He interrupts me. I finally look up to meet his eyes. It holds so much sadness.
