Isla was an orphan, abandoned. Found by an abusive woman. When she ran away she was quickly noticed by none other than Nick Fury.
She was told he was assembling a team, a team of superhumans. People above man kind.
And she.. a thirteen year old girl was needed to make this group of people a team.

Being the only child of Tony Stark, Freya was kept out of the spotlight so that she might live a semi-normal life. Unfortunately, how she became Tony Stark's daughter is the main reason why she will never have anything near a semi-normal life.
