When Gabriel forces Adrien to marry Lila, the boy is distraught. He drops being Chat Noir out of fear of being discovered. He accepted his fate.

Marinette didn't. Ladybug might not be able to do much, but whoever said that Marinette isn't resourceful. Can't save your best friend yourself? Hire a mercenary to kidnap him for you. What could possibly go wrong with that one?

In other words, Marinette was finally unhappy with Adrien's home life enough that she decided to act. Except with the mayor more corrupt than the ministry of magic and the administration not far behind, she had to resort to more... creative ways. Putting out a (kidnapping) hit seemed like a great option at first... But be careful when you set the price. And who you hire.

I needed to refuel my energy when I come back. Anyway, I'm happy to return back once again to deliver you more MLB content. Taking place right after Perfect Payback, LB and CN need to get their partnership back to normal. They decided to leave Paris for a day or so to go to Brazil. In order for them to connect in a nice tropical paradise. Once there, they encounter Lady Butterfly, a butterfly superhero who holds the most powerful miraculous in The Brazilian Box. Sounds like a lot of fun. Especially when Essence's clawers tend to steal them for their master.
