After Nico's three days in the infirmary, he's kind of starting to like camp. He's got some friends and a nice cabin and a *tiny* crush on Will Solace. Will's come to terms with his liking of Nico, too, but he has to go home for five days. It's just five days, but they each feel like it's an eternity. All the while, they're convinced the other doesn't like them back. CW: Mild cursing, mentions of PTSD and flashbacks. Also, beware of very infrequent upload schedules.

It could be someone else's fault, or purely coincidental. Everyone deals with guilt differently. Some play the victim, using it to play the main character in a story that was never written for them. Some surround themselves with things and people that can turn their mind off for awhile. Others might feel guilty when they weren't even there. They feel like they need to go through something similar or worse to validate their suffering. Others grin and bear it, maybe because they don't have time, or they don't want the time. Still, it simultaneously makes everything better, to know that she is loved by Marley at all. Willow places soft, tender kisses all over her face, taking her time with each one until she finally reaches her lips. She hovers, just staring down at them with the knowledge that she's in too deep. But like every human being, she still has doubts. Doubts that she will never get her father back. Doubts that she'll never have the courage to stand up to her father or contact the police. But when she meets a boy named Jeremy, will all of that change? Will he be able to help her? Will Jeremy and Willow start to develop feelings for each other? Will Willow be able to handle those feelings? Willow knows that there must be some hope for her life to change, but she also knows not to keep her hopes up. Nothing good has ever come out of that.

The two would definitely prefer to go their separate ways-except for the fact that they both ended up at the same summer internship fighting for the same position. This was gonna be one hell of a summer.
