I read this book a lonng time ago about this reallly shy and sweet boy who was sent to this sort of reform school I guess for delinquents. He was sent there after he accidentally I don't remember if he killed his bully or really hurt him when he had tried to rape him I think. At the school, he gets roomed with this "bad boy" of the school and everyone is scared of him bc he is like the strongest guy and I THINK his name was Hunter. Hunter had a backstory of where I believe his parents died when he was a little kid but he had his big brother who dropped out of college to take care of him but one day when he was a little older they went fishing and the older brother risked his life and ended up drowning while rescuing Hunter who had also been drowning. The only thing the older brother left Hunter was a necklace. Anyways, Hunter and the shy boy meet and the shy boy makes friends and I believe some of his friends were named: Bear, Charlie, and Happy and I think there's one more. There is this bully at the at the school who always challenges Hunter bc he is the strongest at the school, but it turns out that he was actually in love with Hunter the entire time and was jealous of the shy boy bc he got Hunter to fall in love with him. The bully ended up like pushing the shy boy off a cliff but lucky the shy boy survived and the bully was like beat up and sent off to a worse school and I believe there is a second book with a storyline that is centered around the bully.
