Well, I've never really written any poetry... Well, not any that I can take seriously. But I just couldn't seem to get this one out of my head. I just started thinking of that life saying. You know, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." But then I realized... If you have something, something that can grow into something larger than itself, why waste it for something that will last minutes. Something that can grow, spread, help. Something that others can be inspired by, learn from... So i hope you all enjoy.All Rights Reserved

"Unfortunately, I wish it was just a made-up story, something that belonged in the realm of fiction. But it isn't. I'm guessing it started happily at first. Just a naive 10-year-old enjoying what life threw at her. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But I didn't. I longed for more. With my lemons, I wanted lemonade, lemon cake, lemon pie, honey and lemon juice, lemon tea, and even lemon water!" I guess now I can't have any of that anymore, right? I messed up big time, and I'll bear the consequences for it all. I just have one wish though... It's as though I'd have been better off never entering this world in the first place.

Journey with me back in time as I rewrite the first Journal I kept from when I was in high school, and see that maybe even with how horrible life is most of the times, there are little things spread throughout that make life worth living. My high school experience was full of drama, tears, laughter, and most of all constant search of love, and approval of the people around me. I can't always get what I want in this world. Life is a beautiful mess. It's not perfect, and filled with a lot of disappointments, and heartbreak. There are moments when it all feels too much, but there's not much we can do other than go with the flow of things.

Another collection of (bad) poems. *tw: mentions of sexual assault, drug use, drinking, suicidal ideation and self harm* -a collection of poems that document my experiences with my mental health throughout high school. a warning: i had a few undiagnosed mental disorders (including anxiety and depression, among other things) and was also experiencing narcissistic abuse. so a lot of this is both depressing and disturbing. reader discretion is advised. i would also like to point out that this is only my side of the story. many of the people I spoke about were dealing with their own mental health issues and deserve at least a little less judgement (except for my abusers bc fuck them <3). anyways, enjoy. if you can lol- started: November 2019 finished: May 2023
