Changeling - An otherkin story

In the hidden world of the vampiric nighra, an experiment known as the Changeling Project secretly placed young nighra children into human families to be raised, in an ambitious attempt at integration. However, the project was a failure, and while most of the children and their protectors were returned, some remained unaccounted for, lost in the human world.

Brenda is one such changeling, blissfully unaware of her dark heritage as she pursues her studies at university along side her friends, her eye captured by the strange but incredibly attractive teaching assistant in her class. Her life takes an unexpected turn, when currently suspended nighra warrior Kala shows up.

Meanwhile, things are stirring between the various paranormal factions, and with tensions rising an old enemy reappears.
