At West Fork High Vanessa is Queen Bee. She has the guy, the car, the cloths, and the friends. She was also the Student body President, a Beta club member, and an honor student. She has it all... except the one thing she wants the most. Jeremy finds his pleasure in solving complex equations and hanging out with his other highly intellectual friends. His goals are to graduate from West Fork as Valedictorian, go to college for Molecular biology and some day maybe he might work for NASA. He didn't know that the most popular girl in school liked him or that he would find that he liked her back. He didn't like how being around Vanessa brought change both physical and mental. But can the two sacrifice the things that they value the most in order to be together or will their dreams and fears keep them apart?

Noah Jackson, known as the high school rebel and labelled as "the playboy," could have easily fit the mold of the "perfect child" for her parents: academically gifted, athletically talented, and mostly compliant. The only reason why she didn't meet her parents' expectations was because she liked girls. Consequently, her father decided to send Noah and her brother to a prestigious school, far from home but close to her aunt Ava. Meanwhile, Makenzie Hyde, a sophomore, reigns as the school's queen bee due to her stunning looks, ambitious nature, and role as captain of the volleyball team. Dating Kyle, the epitome of the school's "perfect boy," only solidifies her status as the most desired girl in school, Everyone either wanted her or wanted to be her. People would say she had the perfect life, but was it really perfect? First day of school and Noah was already causing trouble. Makenzie, already not a fan of Noah, becomes a target for Noah to annoy. Eventually Makenzie finds herself working with Noah, and discovers a side to her.
