In which Vita Flores, instead of getting floated on her eighteenth birthday, gets send down to earth alongside 99 other teenage delinquents. After years of imagining a perfect paradise, consisting of nothing but beauty, Vita wakes up to a chaotic new world filled with wonders and dangers alike. 

Or where a young girl grows up and finds herself facing a long and rocky road. She learns that there is nothing entirely good or bad, but an in-between. The girl realises that the grounders aren't the savages her people made them out to be. They fascinate her rather quickly, especially their Commander catches her attention.
