At the mention of that name, I smiled involuntarily, but it wasn't a hearty smile. It was a sad one. Her name brought back millions of memories. Memories that would be destroyed, in a matter of minutes.
She was so proud of her name; "It means silver!" she used to say, with a goofy/ proud smile that I adored. I was smiling again. A tear rolled down my left cheek and I realized that I was crying. I rested my head on my palms and my elbows on my knees and let the tears fall."
