In this story Locks of Appeasement represents the middle ages. Marlina Royal, the Queens daughter, has a forbidden relationship that's prohibited in her kingdom. Her family will do anything they can to rip them apart even if that means putting a spell on their own daughter. This story is nothing like the fairy tales say it is. The question is, will she get her happily ever after or will she lose everything including the one she loves?
