School life ended. Wei Wuxian found out that he was adopted, moved out of his home, married his classmate, had a child and lost his wife in childbirth. He was not happy in life but he had finally achieved his goal of being disciplined and serious in life. He had to be for the sake of his son A'Yuan. When he gets a job offer that pays him almost twice his current salary, he accepts it willingly, not realizing that the psychiatric patient who had lost his parents in an accident he is to be the companion of is none other than Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji has not spoken a single word in three years, not since the death of his parents. When he sees his childhood crush in front of him he wants to speak but cannot make himself do so.
