The couple knew this but pushed through as much as they could, Screams of pain filled the cold dark night, rain poured down harshly, but the screams only continued. The heart of a broken child, losing the love they had only ever craved of for so long, taking it from their grasp, breaking not only them but the boy they loved. Wires attached to his body, the heart monitor beeping, tears fell from his eyes as all he could do was cry, his hair fell into the palms of his hands.
