Ami was a part of the Sohma family because of her mother but her mother never liked her family and left home. Ami's mother always told her the story of the zodiacs. She knew she could not hide the truth of the curse when her daughter was born.
When Ami's mother dies she is finally brought to the Sohma clan and starts living with her mother's sister. Her aunt didn't want her and Akito suggest she gets sent to live with Shigure.
But when Tohru Honda comes into her life things start to change and she finally meets the spirit of the cat. Will things finally start to change?
