Esme is just a regular girl who lives with her grandparents. One day, a boy moves in next door. He's weird, kinda rude, but soon, they have to come together, whether they like it or not, when Esme becomes in possession with a clock. It's old and dusty, and seems broken. But what happens when they realize it's not just a regular clock? This is a story of adventure, heartbreak, and hope, when Esme and her three friends go on an adventure to figure out how the clock became in Esme's possession, and how to stop it. And maybe, just maybe, falling in love, with an unexpected someone, along the way.

Destiny. It was a funny thing. I had always thought that I could create my own destiny. But after attending my junior year at Nox Haven, I knew that wasn't possible. My destiny was written two hundred years before my birth, when my ancestor- The Dark Warlock- created a cult of Dark Ones. It was my destiny to rid the world of his mistake- but I didn't know how. That was the funny part, I knew what I had to do but I didn't know how. Nobody wrote that part of the prophecy. I would figure it out though, two of my beloved friends were dead because the Dark Ones. I swore on their graves that no one else would follow. **Book Three in the Nox Haven Series**
