This story brings the account of Cryfraff, the former leader of the orc tribe who today are known as "Braziers".
In a relaxed conversation, the lady tells her whole life story and how she grew up beside the "beast with a golden heart" that he had as a friend. The report brings the harsh reality of a people that only values strength and intelligence for conflicts and how it affected them as a child. The history of the orc legends, the Braziers. Of the attacks that gave the Crystal Desert this name. And how she hurt her friend in the worst possible way.

A few tidbits of knowledge that would make this story make a lil more since are: -This one-shot is only based off the movie, not the comics nor the upcoming (as of 2019) show. -All of the species named here (Gelfling, Skeksis, Mystics, Podlings) are all more humanoid than what is canon in the Dark Crystal movie but you can still image them as you wish. -The Skeksis are the Galra. (The Mystics AREN'T the Alteans though.) Image the Skeksis as more Galra-like or more Skeksis-like, do what fits your imagination.
