"This is a lovely poem Xia, I might just have to steal it from you and make it into a song. Who's it for?" Although asked with a playful undertone, the bards question was quite serious, and it left the blonde standing in front of him to feel almost hopeless.
"Venti, I -" She stopped herself for a moment, hoping this confession could have stayed inside that paper she poured her heart and soul into. Now that he stood in front of her, his gorgeous teal hues boring into her, and piercing her heart just like the moment she had met him under this very tree, she found the air and courage she spent so much time building up, leaving her just as fast.
Swallowing a lump that had begun to form in her throat, she took in another deep breath. Matching his gaze and readying herself to speak.
"It's for you." The answer was plain but it was the hardest thing to voice.
Xianna wanted to viciously shake the bard that stood before her with a bewildered expression. The nerve of him to think that anybody but him had captured her heart, the nerve! All that time worrying about how to properly convey her feelings to the man she loved and he sits there with an expression that says he doesn't even believe her.
