While walking through the woods, 16 year old Athena runs into Derek Hale, the bad boy of Beacon Hills. Athena thinks she sees more than a bad boy and wants to learn more. Her friends try to warn her off him but Athena doesn't listen. Things start to get complicated when they join forces to stop Sync, a Witch-wolf hell bent on taking over Beacon Hills. They will break many promises and ancient laws but they will discover the one law that cannot be broken. And learn that you can't always trust the ones you hold dear.
