"सच जानकर तुम दोनों जुदा हो जाओगे, पृथ्वी।'

Sayali - the famous Oracle of Geetapur village bumped into Prithviraj Chauhan and Sanyogita when Prithvi was on his way back to Ajmer after defeating Bheemdev. Her prophecy threatened to rip apart the two lovers, who had just begun to realize their feelings for each other. While Prithvi, having lost his father to one such prophecy, was in no mood to lose himself to such a soothsaying, Nandini was shattered and decided to leave the place without revealing her identity.

This story picks up from the point where Nandini is dejected and blaming her stupidity in Kannauj while Prithvi is trying hard to forget her by loosing himself in the duties of his kingdom.

Added to the mix is Maharaj Anangapal Tomar's offer of Delhi's kingship to Prithvi, a throne which is coveted by Jaichand.

Drisana has always felt like she's in the wrong place, wrong time. Why? That has no answer. After her parents death, adventure lover Drisana has been travelling around the world to find peace in her heart which has always been missing. But things take a drastic change when she comes to visit the place that her parents belonged to, where she was born. One moment she was in the basement of her parental house and the next she somehow tumble through a energy portal to 5157 years back in time in the Dwapar yug, badly injured, right on the hands of the legendary heroes of Mahabharat, Pandavs. What is she doing there? How she reached from Kaliyug to Dwapar yug and why? Many more things are running through her mind and all she got from the mortal disguise of Lord Narayan, Krishna is, "Tum etihas ka hissa nahi balki etihas rachne aayi ho. Apni vaggya ka racaita tum khud ho. " (You're not part of the history. Rather you have come to create the history. You're the writer of your own destiny.) *********** Familiar with the Mahabharat? Don't worry if you're not. I've added a short description of the original Mahabharat plot in the book for those. This story will follow the original mahabharat storyline but in a vastly different way with a lot of twists and events in my style. 😉 I'm aware Mahabharat holds religious sentiments for some and I do not INTEND to offend anyone. This is for entertainment purpose only. So don't get serious or offended please. And I apologise in advance if you feel hurt by any content of the book.

Everything changed the day the King ordered me to seduce his son and bring him back to the Kingdom. He was my best friend. As per the order of things, a Yuvraj cannot befriend a Commoner girl. But we were. He was anything but nice and helpful to me, and in return, I betrayed him. The betrayal ran deep, costing him the trust of the last of his friends. I saw him becoming cruel. The man who struggled to kill a deer in the Gurukul sliced throats and smiled right in front of me. His anger was scary, and the scariest part was the redemption of what I did to him. "You shall marry me," his words were clear, emotionless. "I am getting married. My fiancé is waiting outside for me, Abhinan," I tried to say, but he clenched his jaw. "My father asked you to do something for me, and in return, I shall do something for him, too. He is on his deathbed, and his last wish is to see his grandchild. Since you are closer to him, you must do this," he almost ordered, and I took a step back, shaking my head. "Are you out of your mind? I am an adopted daughter of your Guruji. Nobody knows my family, my bloodline, my caste or my community. The throne will never accept me; your father will be tormented," I said, and he stepped closer. "Well, that's why you are perfect for it. I shall make sure that even after seeing his grandchild, he will never rest in peace," he exclaimed and took me from there. *** The story is set in the 17th Century. When only the Princesses were meant to sit beside the King on the Throne, Trisha transformed herself to become Trishalini, the most loved Queen in history. There was no bed of roses in the early days, but she ensured the people in her kingdom slept on them. Amidst the guilt, anger and redemptions bloomed a forbidden, dark love story of King Abhinandan and Trishalini, aka Trisha.
