Alone.

All I've ever been was alone,

The streets were the only place I could call my home,

No friends and family to talk on the phone,

The only family I had disowned.

Solitaire is a single player game, the cards in a constant war with each other. Winning the game alone is a challenge but not impossible. The cards have to come together to win the game, same way with life but there is no way to win the game of life.

Alone is all Kaivalya has felt since she was little, bouncing around foster homes since she was a small child after the tragic death of her only father figure. Now the eleven-year old resides on the streets, living off of any scraps she finds. She thought she would always be alone until she meets André Monet, a well-known CEO who sees a small child on the street with nothing but a deck of cards and a stuffed bear. He starts to form a bond with the sassy girl on the street corner. Will the lonely man be there for the lonely girl or will she always live in solitaire?

"THE FINAL CHAPTER." • • • Campbell West Cade has been through a lot of trauma in her seventeen years. Her mother left her, her father went to prison, she was placed into an abusive home, was attacked twice, and she almost lost her loved ones more than once. The Cades are Campbell's anchor. They are her light, and they are her family. She loves them, and they love her. Nothing could ever change that. But what happens when Campbell forgets everything that happened in the last year due to the car accident? The Cades are devastated when they find out she doesn't remember them. And so are Campbell's friends, and Brent. The doctors told them to take it easy, and slowly help her get her memory back. It could take days, weeks, months, or even permanently. To make matters worst, Campbell doesn't remember loving Brent. In order to make her love him again, he must restart their whole relationship from scratch. He will wait forever, if he has to, for her to love him again. But when Alec Daniels enters the picture, things get more complicated. Especially when Campbell and Alec start to get close, really close. It doesn't help either that Alec and Brent have pure hatred for each other ever since they were little. Campbell's life was crazy, but now it's insane. Will Campbell get her memory back? Will Brent win her heart or will Alec? Can Campbell ever go back to normal with her family? Or will they be torn apart? Find out in Loving the Cades. (Third book in the Cades series)

FREE STORY WITH EXCLUSIVE CONTENT. This is *not* a Paid Story. Eighteen-year-old hockey prodigy Elliot Wexler has three goals for senior year. One: somehow graduate with a 3.5 GPA. Two: hide his bipolar disorder from his peers. And three: make it into the NHL with no scandals. Piece of cake. What he doesn't expect is to find Lucy, a homeless girl, hiding from the winter frost in his dad's shed. Elliot's busy, complicated life doesn't permit room for error, and falling in love with a girl from a totally different world sounds like the opposite of a good idea. But Elliot can't help but be drawn to Lucy and her elusive ways--even when she seems to vanish from his life non-stop, each time leaving him with a bigger hole in his heart. But Elliot is determined to break down Lucy's barriers. And when he does, he discovers that her life is more complicated--and dangerous--than he could have imagined. With drafting season approaching, and Elliot's fragile mental health deteriorating, he's forced to face a difficult question: Is first love supposed to hurt so much? *** PLEASE DO NOT ADD THIS STORY TO GOODREADS.
