Survivor's Guilt - a mental condition that occurs when a person believes they have done something wrong by surviving a traumatic or tragic event when others did not, often feeling self-guilt.
The Detective Agency and The Port Mafia were a well known group of people, more was known of them in Yokohama, their home and base of operations. They protected their city, but it's not like protection can last forever.
Yokohama was destroyed 3 years ago amd still in the process of rebuilding. Their protectors are said to have died that day when catastrophe struck. They called the Agency Terrorist that caused their destruction. The Agency and Mafia ceased to exist, but they left behind inspiration and hope for others and crime and vigilantes became the normal, but no one could ever reach the level of those two no matter how hard they tried.
But...
There was one child who survived...
Kyouka Izumi, the last remaining Former Port Mafia Member and Armed Detective Agency Member.
