At the beginning of the 19th century, the rule of compulsory army due to war was valid in Korea. But because of the new king, 30-year-olds did not join the army, but 15-20. They mostly took young adults, but also younger.
Many friendships were formed in the military camps, but of course also enemies. The only thing that happened to Han Jisung was that he fell in love with his enemy, but that is the very beginning of what they will all have to go through to be together again.
