When a groggy George moves in with an ecstatic Nick, something feels off. His files begin becoming corrupted, different things start moving out of place, and his computer stops working. One thing was very clear though. This wasn't just a Dream.
An AU where Dream is a Ghost able to corrupt anything he can touch while George deals with the madness by himself.

Just before Dream and George were about to get married, something unexpected happened: George died and is now a ghost, unable to be seen by a single soul. This is horrible. While George is live streaming, he accidentally outs himself in front of his whole stream. His life seems to be collapsing as his mother figures out the same thing as all his viewers did. George talks to his best friend, Dream, and decides to hopelessly ask to meet up with his "unknowing" best friend after his mother doesn't seem to want him in her house any longer. Dream, however, was watching George's stream as he outed himself and decides to not bring any of it up, realising George hides more and more from him.
