"Hello! Earth to Payton." Lily was snapping her fingers in front of my face. "Quit daydreaming, you have to tell me which shoes go better with my dress."

"They're both fine." I rolled my eyes.

"Just fine?" She asked incredulously. "If I'm gonna lose my virginity tonight, fine isn't going to cut it."

She continued to model the mismatched pair of heels in the mirror, trying to decide which color was best suited for seduction.

I couldn't care less about some stupid party. I'm only going because I don't trust Lily to get home safely on her own. I'm honestly tempted to just wait in the car, the last thing I wanna do is watch as she gets rejected by her big crush. She has no idea that he's in the closet. In fact, no one does but me. He confessed the whole thing to me in a drunken stupor, right before he kissed me. And to make matters even worse, he doesn't even remember it.
