!Trigger warning! Mentions of suicide/self harm, abuse, neglect, religion Zachary Michaels is a 19 year old boy who never really had much, though he was raised not to complain since at least he had a roof over his head. But, like every average-joe teenage protagonist, everything changes when after a series of events his life is saved by a mysterious man who just so happened to also frame him for murder. Afterwards, the two have to run away together, Zachary writing letters to the man the as their story unfolds. Now, after everything that Zachary and this man - named Logan - have been through, Zachary sadly writes his last letter as he plans his own death, having never really gotten to know who the man he was running with actually was, or who he was to him. Every other chapter is one of Zachary's letters to Logan, with the next chapter being the event the letter describes from Logan's perspective as he remembers them. This story heavily references Christian beliefs, but I've never actually read the bible and wasn't raised in a church, so this is mostly my interpretation of what few sources I have.
