Second Lead Syndrome // K. Bakugou

Emiko Izaki, a pro-hero working in a joint agency with pro-hero Deku, also known as Izuku Midoriya, one of het closest 'friends' from UA. Emi tries her best to keep everything professional, but once Deku gets a girlfriend, feelings get hard not to spill out. She decides to meet up with her best friends, being themselves, they'll push her in the right direction, but that's when one.. particular person shows up. She sees him so frequently, and swears he's her 'enemy'... yet- why does everything feel this way? Either way, Emi knows she's not the perfect fit for Midoriya, a cookie cutter type man. She sees him with his new girlfriend, sees how perfect she is for him, how perfect THEY are as people, and realizes she's nowhere near as good as her. They're both the leads of her own story, and when she figures this out, she tries to do anything she can to distract herself from this heartache. Yet- she finds herself seeing that the person she claims to hate the most... suffers from the same thing as her, and that is 'The Second Lead Syndrome'.

You will be self-inserted as Emiko, though if you want to change the name, feel free! You can have whatever features you'd like, but for some parts like all of the scars (guys, there are a lot, it's her quirk), and a few other things that are mentioned in the fic are all because of her quirk and will have to stay.
