Hitoshi Shinso, Shota Aizawas father, was out to get some milk when he runs into a villain.
 Well not really a villain more like a petty thief and technically she ran into him. But, that's not the point. The point is she was startled and sent him into the future, while also de-aging his body. 

How does that make since? 

It doesn't. 

But, after finding out the date from a certain green haired boy, he contacts his son ,Aizawa, who has to help him get back to the past while Shinso trys to help progress class 1A to be the best heros they can be.

He might just want to adopt these kids.
