She just has very low tolerance for unpredictable chaos. She values her downtime, her personal space, and quiet comfort of her home. So when a glitch in the university's housing system drops Tyson Reynolds into her apartment, she immediately brings her signature wit to the front door, ready to defend her territory from the campus's most notorious player and most high-profile nightlife promoter.

Ty Reynolds doesn't just need a place to sleep; he actually intends to live in the off-campus apartment, 4C. Running downtown venue openings, balancing schoolwork and a packed social roster is exhausting, so he treats his living space as a sanctuary to unwind, cook, and decompress. He's not planning on hiding in his room, and he certainly isn't planning on bowing down to a roommate who attempts to micromanage the kitchen island.

Forced into the same daily routine, Lauren and Ty find themselves frequently crossing paths. The high-friction and sharp banter over morning coffee quickly begins to shift when the party noise fades. As their respective friend groups begin to intertwine, the walls they've built up start to crumble and the undeniable tension brewing between them becomes the one variable neither of them can control.
