Set in the three days in the infirmary, the war is over but the turmoil is not. Nico refuses to stay in the infirmary, yet he can barely stand. Will is juggling his busy life as camp half bloods best doctor ... trying hard not to think about his crush in the room down the hall. Each passing day will grows more worried about Nico. He seems to just want to fade and with each time he is saved Will can feel him becoming more and more distant. Each day Nico can see death radiating off himself brighter each time he looks. Can Will save Nico? Will Nico ever trust Will again?

Nico di Angelo has always been a bit of a loner when it comes to the demigod camps, so he didn't expect much of a difference when he decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood. Which is fine! It just made it that much easier to keep hidden the secret residing under his sleeves. Will Solace is a down-to-Earth healer with a lot more darkness than he lets on. After Nico's three days in the infirmary, he's kind of starting to like camp. He's got some friends and a nice cabin and a *tiny* crush on Will Solace. Will's come to terms with his liking of Nico, too, but he has to go home for five days. It's just five days, but they each feel like it's an eternity. With Nico di Angelo as Will Solace's prisoner for three days in the infirmary, Nico has to quickly adjust to all the attention he gets from Will, along with the rest of the camp. Nico has to deal with other people's problems, especially when he doesn't want to. He has to quickly learn how to build relationships with other campers from the ground up, and even though Nico is banned from using his 'Underworldy' powers, he's still a demigod, and danger and adventure are always at his heels, even at camp! Everyone Deserves to be Happy (Solangelo)
Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.).
