This isn't the story I originally planned on doing, but the one I started writing for NaNoWriMo14 wasn't really going anywhere.
Sometimes secrets are best left untold. Sometimes when they are shared, the end result is crucial. But what if there's the potential of danger if the secret is not repeated to one of those involved. Sometimes you have to weigh up the dangers and make a life changing choice.
I wrote a version of this for my literature exam at the end of last year, but it was supposed to only be 1000 words, so I am trying to now extend it by a lot.

Ivy Illigard has never had any doubt about the fact that she's not normal. I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. He is shy, caring, and missing his family. Coming out to his family was different than what he thought it would be. He moved away and tried to start over. Could he get the chance here he never got at home. He is alone and he is afraid. Both men have been going to the same coffee shop for weeks. They both recognize each other from Tinder. Will one of them make the first step? Is a relationship what they want or just some friends with benefits.
