In a world where there is no god, there are Cloudians... cloudians' make the meaning of emotions and help people down on earth by the letters of a book. As by name, they live in clouds, it is just as things would be on earth, except that years ago the world was a mess, heartbreaks, suicides, etc became such a problem to the point where people were born and or banished to clouds to make the world a "better place" by communicating through the red books, they allowed people from the clouds to communicate with those on earth, giving advice and other things while not allowed to give any information about identities.
Theo, a 16 year old boy was used to having a book each year to give advice to the person who shared his book each year, but things change when he is given a second book with a much more complicated assignment.
