"Okay, back to the drawing board. Scratching off some options: new-born child (no definitely not how that works), coma (yeah no, again). Okay, so being dead is probably the highest possibility, even though this is not hell nor heaven, or just the void of not existing."

He wakes up with no knowledge of who he was, his name, where he was right before he woke-up in an unknown world where he will -- reluctantly -- embark on an adventure to uncover his past and how he got there. Even if digging it up will be one of the most painful experiences that he'll witness.
