Alexis is used to being tossed aside by families that don't care like a used tissue, but she finally finds a family that cares about her and that actually wants her. As she makes the journey through building up a new life she meets new people with new personalities. She becomes more attached to the new people around her and feels like she is welcome and has a home now, but will that all come to an end because of the feelings she can't explain?
