It's told in first person perspective by a girl, Leah. Leah has two best friends, Tayah and Simone. The three were inseparable all through middle school and their freshman year of high school. It was their freshman year when they met a guy. His name was Riley. Though he caught the attention of all the girls, Simone, of all, was the lucky one. But the other two girls were caught in a daze when Riley starts making passes at them as well. What will Leah do when time comes to tell all? Will she confess to her own demons, as well as Tayah's, or will she save Riley in the long run?

"Please," I heard the boy say softly, interrupting my thoughts, but I didn't dare move closer to him. "Just let me explain." He pleaded me to stay with him. "Wh-what, how?" I stared at him in awe. I could tell he saw my pink cheeks because he put his hand on my cheek sending sparks down my spine. "Wait, one more thing before you leave," he said scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.
