Trying to keep her history a secret and trying not to fall for the man who wants to dig deeper, leads her to have to make a big decision - stay hidden within the ghosts of Riversmend or take the hand of traveler Zachary Bagans?

Hauntings were never Zacky's kind of thing; ending up with the entire group being haunted by a ghost for that matter, certainly wasn't his idea of a good weekend. After visiting a supposed haunted house on the outskirts of town, a rather distasteful ghost has tagged along with someone. To make matters worse, the ghost is actually that one of a long-dead serial killer from the 1900s and is able to break windows and push people down staircases when they're not paying attention. Finding out that ghosts have the same qualities in life and death certainly doesn't help to improve Zacky's thoughts on the matter either. Will they be able to get rid of the ghost before it gets someone killed? How do you kill something that's already dead before it kills you?

As soon as she arrives, however, she is greeted by the ghost of a boy that resembles her late brother. Shortly after, she witnesses the reflections of those about to die upon the water’s surface. There are other spirits within the lake that have a more macabre intention for Kara. These dark spirits have a psychic connection to the guilt that individuals feel and thus lure them to the lake. The guilt that individuals feel is like an acid that tears away the individual from the inside out. Between the mysterious murders that have plagued the area, the unexplainable disappearances, and the supernatural phenomenon occurring around the lake, Kara finds herself facing her past to determine her future.

Josephine Finnes was killed by a hit and run, while crossing the street to get to her car, after her after school book club. Josephine was seventeen years old. The driver, Mark Kelso, is currently in hospital after he later crashed the car again, where police discovered he was drinking heavily. There have been some updates. It has been confirmed that the hit and run was done under the influence of alcohol, where driver Mark Kelso was travelling fifty, in a school zone. Josephine Finnes parents have been told and currently asking for privacy at this time. *Finale news report* In memory of the student, Josephine Finnes. Friends and family gather and lay flowers at the bus stop where she was found on Monday evening. Her parents and siblings were first to lay sunflowers, saying their daughter was 'a beam of light and their lives now darker without her'. The driver Mark Kelso, aged twenty-three was charged with manslaughter amongst others.
