Monokuma's first motive of the stolen memories didn't motivate his students enough to start the killing school trip, so he decides to provide them with another motive: backwards day.
Everyone's talent, style and personality, changes to the exact opposite for 24 hours. Monokuma hopes that this would be enough to make everyone start killing each other.
