Time was running out. Any minute now they were going to catch on to us. And then it would be all over. We would go to jail. The news would be all over the gossip tabloids. I could already picture it. We (but I was mostly worried about me) would all become the country's public enemies. And my mother would see that. My whole family, in fact. But I was more worried about my mother. It had always been my wish and intention to tell my mother personally that her son was employed by an illegal organization to hack and unearth the governments dirty secrets. I didn't want her to find out through the newspapers.
But it was going to happen. We were going to get caught. Tonight. And all because the newbie made some stupid mistake.

Alas look a ghost, be careful you're not toast, you must want to see what I see. Society is ruthless, protection is fruitless, for in madness is when you are free. Perfection is dead, from the wounds we all bled, a cruel fate we did not foresee. While outsiders are safer, if only by a wafer, you can still hear them utter a plea.
