Once a promise is broken, there's no going back.
After having just saved Eda the owl lady from the emperor's hands, who knows what else is in store for Luz the human. How will she get home? Can she handle the Harsh reality of the situation knowing now that she's a wanted criminal in the boiling isles? And what does that mean for her relationship with amity?

At 17 years old Luz decided to run from home she manage to go between realms and ended up on the Boiling Isles. When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. She has to deal with various threats, from the deadly environment, and tyrannical government, to her own demons. After a few months, she finally managed to more or less stabilize her life, no matter the outside threats but everything changed as a new foe appeared in her life. How will she deal with the new problem? Will fighting your way through be enough?
