Harleen Quinzel was having a "Bad day", which seemed to be more often than any good days. She got tired of feeling so small, and being treated horribly as her job. Her boss sexually harassed her nearly every day and then....BOOM!
Just like that, Harleen lost it! She ended up assaulting her boss while she was with a client named Arthur Fleck and as time goes by, she fid d herself having some unfamiliar feelings for this, odd, skinny, soft-hearted man.
She loses her job as a Social worker and now finds herself falling into dark depressive state. She drinks too much sometimes just to slake her loneliness. Little by little, you will witness how a lovely young woman goes from being soft spoken and submissive to those who treat her poorly.
Her job as a social worker at Arkham State Hospital, and her reason is one that she will not admit to anyone. One of her patients, Arthur Fleck, changed her life the second he sat down in front of her, over a year before the live murder of Murray Franklin. She only knew him as a shy, tender, and poetic man, who suffered silently everyday. He never felt truly...seen...until he met Harleen...
As she travels through this tumultuous journey of love, anguish, rage, heartbreak, love, and revenge, she begins to really know herself. She finds herself changing constantly as she drags her feet through life. Internal change can become deadly, if taken to far. Who better to confide in than someone who has been there themselves.....?

But along the way she meets a boy who she believes shouldn't be in there but see a different side of him that no one should ever see and to her surprise, she has even dared to fall in love. The Gotham Queen
This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. I do not own any of these characters or the various original stories!! I just made my own remake of it. All rights go to the DC Universe and the creators of these awesome people. Thank you for trying out this story. I'm sorry if the parts that are from Joker's POV are terrible, but I tried to get as close to his twisted personality as possible. It isn't exactly easy to predict what the most unpredictable character ever made would say and do. I mostly went off of the movie scenes for his character. Please be nice to each other, and no rude comments. I may have a few spelling errors, so if you let me know, I will try to get to them. Harleen Quinzel has a sister that few know about. Amelia is very different from her little sister Harleen. While Harleen wanted to help people and so did Amelia but not in he same way as her sister, Harleen wanted to help the mentally ill so she became a psychiatrist Amelia wanted to help the people of her country and make sure her sister could have her dream. Harleen hadn't seen her sister in about a year and a half since she's been deployed over seas she's just started at Arkham when her sister is coming home twist her sisters lost her left arm and its now replaced with a removable robotic one. Since Amelia can no longer serve in the military she's offered to work as a guard in Arkham. What happens when she finds out little sis is in love with the joker well it's a bumpy ride and she's drug along with them.Concluida
