Annabeth defected. No one believed it. Right when they needed her most. She was key in all of their defenses. She left them nothing. Not so much as a good bye. The campers haven't been the same, especially Percy. Her absence left a huge hole in his life and he's not sure he can get by without her. Chiron and the others have noticed a huge change in him. He's become more focused, more analytical and more paranoid. He trusted no one and trained endlessly. Something big was coming and there was a lot to do to prepare for it. The whole plan depends on them working in perfect timing and better teamwork than anyone has seen before. But why does it feel like Percy is doing this all alone?
