The clunky, old Dell Latitude d620 was hardly the ideal laptop for university student Mavis Arya. The living dinosaur was bought for twenty bucks online and meant to last her one semester of university so she could work up the money for a decent one. The laptop ran for shit, it had a memory of a GB at most, the internet took forever and worst of all you can't download anything making the unheard of search engine Cactus Mavis' new choice search engine being the only thing downloaded on the computer. Although Mavis soon discovers the laptop isn't exactly like normal laptops and, more specifically, Cactus search engine might be a little bit better than even Google. Slowly Mavis discovers the hidden tricks of Cactus and its amazing skills to answer questions that really shouldn't be asked. Although the gift turns quickly into a curse as Mavis' life soon becomes ruled by the computer and the deadly Cactus inside.

Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. When she starts her new school, Cliffside High, everyone despises her. They don't like the same music she does and they don't dress like her. She's an outcast in their book. But when she gets home, she goes to her favorite website and chats with people who love her. Who don't despise her. But, everything changes when a stranger starts to chat with her. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. Little did she know his visit will be soon and blood curdling.
