It is now 3014 and the cumunitys have changed. When you are bon you are given a locket. As you grow the locket will grow, they are not able to be taken off for the clasp dissappers when clasped. The boys lockets are gold with a sun. The girls lokets are silver with a moon. The locket os created to show you your mate, the person you will spend the rest of your life with. The locket warms up when you are close to your mate and cools down when you are away from them. Of corse the lockets didn't solve the problem with sluts and man whores, nor did it stop bullies from bulling. This is a story about a young girl named Phoenix Andromeda Wendsday Black, and how she embarks to find her mate.
