Many happy years have passed by for Luigi, and everything was grand. Except for one thing, one PERSON. Mr.L seems to be haunting Luigi like a ghost. Plaguing him with delusions and nightmares. Luigi turns to someone, reluctantly, for help. He turns to Dimentio. After seeking his help, the Floro Sprout containing Mr.L disappears! Now Luigi needs to find out what Mr.L is after and who has his alter-ego!

One day, Mario and Luigi come to Mr.L exclaiming to him that they have enough proof to get both him and Dimentio to the Overthere! They go to Dimentio's cell only to find that he's gone MAD. Mr.L can't help but wonder what made him be like this. An incident with the Dark Prognosticus occurs and Mr.L is sent back to the days of the Great Pixl War! Luigi finds the worst has happened. He's lost the most important thing in his life, and will do anything to get it back. He finds himself teaming up with an old enemy, as everyone else refuses to help. He searches for a solution, something to help bring back what was lost. Welcome to a different world. A world where Luigi has never met Daisy, and Mario and Luigi aren't viewed as heroes. As a matter of fact, very few people even recognize them, and those who do think they're dangerous. Though the world is different, Mario and Luigi are still the same. Just two plumbers, who go on adventures to save the world and whatnot. AN: This story takes place after the events of Super Paper Mario, featuring some of our favorite characters from the game. Also has a few characters inspired from different things. I wouldn't call them OC's, but I added a few things to make them different. This story is inspired by a whole bunch of things including Tangled the Series, Marvel, Indiana Jones, the list goes on XD. But I put a lot of thought and time into this project so please enjoy!

Why was he abandoned as a child? Did his parents truly not love him just because of his appearance? Meanwhile, Mario had held up his end of the deal and left Rogueport. Alone. He knew that he now had blood on his hands. He had attempted suicide, but Dimentio tried to intervene, which is why Mr.L was now dead. After isolation, and his thoughts whispering to him, he realizes that none of this would've happened if Dimentio was simply never in the picture. Two broken halves, two problems, one solution.
