There's No Such Thing as Orange

Qualia is the name we give to those things that we can sense, yet not describe. Who's to say one person's blue isn't different to yours, or that their rosemary smells the same, when the only way we can describe it is by comparing to equally subjective experiences?

Serena thinks about these things a lot. It's not like she has any friends to spend her time with instead. All this introspection has made her world view one that is very hard to change, so it's no wonder that a growing interest in a boy with such insatiable wanderlust stirs up conflict in more ways than one.

A universal taste doesn't exist.
No one really knows what love is.
