The first seal has been opened: Following the attempted arrest of Joseph Seed, the young deputy Nayeli Lamb finds herself in the middle of an all-out Holy War between the residents of Hope County and the Project at Eden's Gate. With the rest of the Sherrif's department MIA, Nayeli strikes up alliances with those who would stand against Joseph Seed and his "Children" and in turn, find her missing surrogate family.
