Japan's harsh legal system kept her from being able to return to the States with her sister and parents. however Lucy wasn't in jail the five months she spent in Japan. Lucy was inducted into the CGAS and taught to hone her natural skill of telepathy and work around her minor Aspergers. Before she was released she was warned that her new skills would be used when the center was ready and that she was to tell no one. but that may prove too much for Lucy to handle when her sister cecelia and boyfriend gray begin to inquire into the details of her five month stay. So when a friend from the center shows up at school Lucy knows that its time for her to play her part in the center's ultimate goal. whatever it may be.

Ciel Phantomhive offered Celeste room and board at his manor, as long as she worked for him as a maid. Knowing she needed a place to stay until she could find a way back home, Celeste accepted the offer. Taking up residence with Ciel at the Phantomhive manor, Celeste began her journey.
