The Phillips sisters, Robynn loves to explore and play, Madeline is looking forward to new things, but Gwendolyn hates change because she usally experienced it happening for the worse. She also hates Valentine's Day. The reason is because some form of bad luck happens to her. The family tries their best to cope with the changes in their lives. Their father wanted a fresh start five years after a tragedy struck and the family moves to Ravensfield, a small town near the Oceanside known to take celebrating yearly holidays very seriously, especially Valentine's Day. The story follows in the perspectives of Gwen and her family as they live their lives in a new town.
