A child on the brink of death, and when faced with Death herself, the child just couldn't bear it and he begged.

"Lady... Can you please end my suffering?"

The lady in velvet cloak looked down at him, confused. 'Why does this human asks for his death? Doesn't he want to live and take revenge on those who have hurted him?' She thought.

His peculiarity piqued her interest. And instead of taking the child's life like how he wishes, the lady in velvet cloak took him in.

Will life blossom fondly to the child after being abandoned by his family?

Will the lady even understand the meaning of life for others?

Or will they end up being fond of one another?

"Lily, too much fondness will only ruin you again," the darkness whispered inside of her as memories of her former life flashed on her mind.
