The Rise To Power; A Smallville Saga {Part 4}

In the aftermath of the second meteor shower, Lex and Tyla find themselves in the middle of an all-out extraterrestrial arms race. Without so much warning, Tyla became a force of nature that neither she nor Lex could control. But much of this force comes with a price, one that seems to connect to Clark Kent and the secrets that delve within him. Along with a power struggle between good and evil, a strain started to form between the two lovers. Will they be able to overcome it together? Or will all of this be in vain?

Takes place during season 5 of Smallville

ᯓ★ "hope is a dangerous thing for a woman to have... but i have it." 𝑪𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒐 𝑺𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒍. Awards, accolades, a Nobel Prize in Literature, a penthouse, and a double Harvard degree - yet her life feels empty. She's spent years In Gotham City writing about vigilantes, villains, and anti-heroes, exploring the darkness in humanity. But when she moves to Metropolis, her eyes fall on someone new, Superman. To the world, she's a Pulitzer-hopeful journalist, taking a job at the Daily Planet. To herself, she's hunting her next muse, convinced that in a city full of light, she might finally find inspiration and maybe, just maybe, a reason to believe that hope doesn't always breed misery.
